PROSPEROUS FUTURES START HERE

Around the site of Chotuna-Chornancap is a vibrant community, but one in need. Many of the community members have no electricity, sewer system or clean water. Learn what SPI is doing to help here.

An archaeological project may briefly bring a measure of prosperity to the remote, impoverished villages that host the site; but as these temporary resources vanish, so does the incentive to safeguard historical treasures. Transforming the lives of local residents through education and economics provides a sustainable path to preservation of antiquities.
